Vision 2015 is Hiring

Vision 2015 - 06/08/2013 - Vision 2015 is hiring a full-time employee to support the planning and execution of regional programs and initiatives.  Approximately 50% of this position’s time will be focused on collaborative initiatives with Agenda 360, our counterpart in Southwest Ohio.  Current initiatives include: the Regional Indicators series of reports (www.regional-indicators.org), The Story Project (www.story-project.org), Bold Goals for the Community (www.uwgc.org/boldgoals) and the regional Collective Impact cohort.  Approximately 50% of this individual’s time will be spent on administrative and communication functions designed to support a broader group of initiatives that will include both regional and Northern Kentucky specific projects. 

The most successful candidate will possess a unique ability to see and understand the “big picture” goals while executing all aspects of a program down to the administrative details.  We are hiring a generalist who will wear multiple hats and must be a master at multi tasking.  A passion for this region, energy for sharing our successes and assets while working to improve our shortfalls is expected.  The ability to thrive in an environment that is not “black and white” and involves a multitude of community partners is necessary.  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (including editing and proofreading) and time management skills are critical.  

Bachelor’s degree required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.  Experience managing projects and/or leading communication efforts is a plus.  Preference will be given to individuals with experience working in an intermediary organization (one who works with community organizations, public sector/ private sector partnerships, etc).  

Physical Requirements:
Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk.  Maximum unassisted lift = 35lbs.  Average lift less than 10lbs.  Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor and calculator.  Also requires the ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone.  May require traveling by car to clients.  

Environmental Requirements:
Inside average office environment.  Average office noise levels.  No personal protective equipment required.  Ambient temperature between 68 and 76F.
